I’ve been a host in the Venus Retreat for the past 5 months and have also been moving through the sequence again myself. This time as I contemplate the spheres of my Purpose, IQ, EQ, SQ and Core through the lens of my relationships, I feel as though for the first time, I am really starting to see the flowing of the Gifts in my life.  

This doesn’t mean that there aren’t MASSIVE challenges that have shown up in my relationships, but rather that I am no longer reacting in the same way as my wounded inner child. 

The Venus Sequence is all about healing the wounding that occurred during childhood through our current relationships. Relationships, especially our most challenging ones, can be the greatest catalyst for transformation, and in my experience, the best mirror for me to really see where I am with embodying the Gift frequency.

It is officially summer in the Northern Hemisphere and winter in the Southern Hemisphere with the Solstice happening yesterday, June 20th. 

The solstice refers to two points in the year when the Sun reaches its highest or lowest point in the sky as observed from Earth. This marks the longest and shortest days of the year. There are two solstices annually (summer and winter).

During the summer solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, the Sun reaches its highest point in the sky, resulting in the longest day of the year. Conversely, in the Southern Hemisphere, it marks the shortest day of the year.

The Solstice always occurs while gates 10 and 15 are activated. Right now the Sun is in gate 15 and the Earth is in gate 10. The Full Moon in Capricorn is happening this evening at 6:08 pm Pacific, which will be activating gate 10.

The New Moon in Gemini is on June 6th at 5:37 am Pacific, activating gate 35, the Gate of Change. This is happening just following the Venus Cazimi on June 4th, which is also happening in gate 35. On June 6th, the Sun, Venus and New Moon will all be in gate 35.6.  

A cazimi refers to a planet being conjunct with the Sun. A Venus Cazimi is a powerful and favorable astrological event, which enhances Venusian qualities and has the potential to bring positive influences in love, relationships, creativity, and finances. Its effects can provide a period of heightened harmony, beauty, and personal fulfillment. 

This Venus Cazimi in Gemini enhances the ability to express love, affection, and appreciation through words, making it a great time for heart-to-heart conversations and resolving misunderstandings.

Jupiter and Mercury are also in Gemini, creating a powerful stellium of planets currently in Gemini. This is  because Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is in its home sign.

The full moon in Sagittarius is happening on Thursday, May 23rd at 9:53 am Eastern and is activating gate 34, which is currently transiting the Earth.  

The programming partner to gate 34 is gate 20, which creates the Channel of Charisma. Whenever one of these gates is activated by the Sun or the Nodes, we get the full channel activated through the transit.

Programming partners are 2 gates/ Gene Keys that are bonded together through their opposition. They are exact mirror opposites in terms of their position on the wheel and the structure of the hexagram. 

Programming partners create a biofeedback loop that reinforces the themes of those 2 gates/ Gene Keys at every level of frequency (not-self/ authentic self and shadow/ gift/ siddhi). 

This is why it’s so important to contemplate the programming partner of each of your gates, even if you don’t have that gate defined in your chart. To fully understand a gate or Gene Key, you must contemplate its opposite.

Tomorrow, May 18th, Jupiter will move into the heart of the Sun, which is known as a Cazimi.  

In astrology, "cazimi" refers to a planet being conjunct (within 0.25 degrees) with the Sun. When a planet is in cazimi, it is said to be in a position of strength or heightened influence. 

Traditionally, this is seen as a very powerful and fortunate placement, as the planet is said to be "in the heart of the Sun," receiving its energy and being purified by its light.

Last month with the Sun moving through Aries as well as the North Node, Chiron and solar eclipse activating gate 51 in Aries, I began reflecting on the sphere of my Purpose, which is in Aries. 

My Purpose (unconscious Earth) is in Gate 42, at 22 degrees Aries. This is my only activation in Aries, which is my 2nd House of money, finances, material possessions, values, self worth, and personal resources. 

With the Nodes currently being in Aries and Libra, we’re collectively going through a calibration of the Aries-Libra axis. This axis highlights the dynamic interplay between individuality and partnership, self-assertion and cooperation, independence and compromise. It reflects the tension between the need for self-assertion and the desire for harmonious relationships.

How are you feeling after the recent eclipse? What was brought to light or emerged for you during eclipse season? 

The first lunation after the eclipse is a full moon in Scorpio on April 23rd at 4:50 pm Pacific, which will be activating gate 28, the Gate of the Game Player.  

Even though we’re out of eclipse season, Mercury is still retrograde until until April 25th when it will station direct but then be in its post-retrograde shadow until May 12th. 

When Mercury entered into its pre-retrograde shadow on March 18th, it was in gate 51. This pre-shadow period is when Mercury is still direct, but is slowing down and going through the gates that it will then go back through during its retrograde. 

Mercury stationed retrograde on April 1st in gate 3 when it then started to move back through gate 42 and 51.  When it gets back to gate 51, it will station direct, but be in its post shadow until it moves out of gate 3.

The Solar Eclipse is happening on April 8th at 11:20am Pacific and will be activating gate 51, the Gate of Shock, which is also currently transiting the Sun, North Node, and Chiron. 

A solar eclipse will always occur close to the North Node, but isn't always in the same gate. However, this solar eclipse is happening with the Sun, Moon, North Node and Chiron all in gate 51. 

Solar eclipses are seen as potent times for initiating new beginnings, taking risks, and moving forward in life. They often coincide with opportunities for personal growth and advancement.

One of the things that I didn’t hear discussed when I started learning about and experimenting with Human Design and the Gene Keys was how challenging the process of deconditioning can actually be. 

These systems were presented as having all of the answers to understanding myself at a soul level. All I had to do was learn the system and start living as my true self to unlock more satisfaction and flow in my life.
