Mitra: 6th Face of the Godhead
I’ve been a host in the Venus Retreat for the past 5 months and have also been moving through the sequence again myself. This time as I contemplate the spheres of my Purpose, IQ, EQ, SQ and Core through the lens of my relationships, I feel as though for the first time, I am really starting to see the flowing of the Gifts in my life.
This doesn’t mean that there aren’t MASSIVE challenges that have shown up in my relationships, but rather that I am no longer reacting in the same way as my wounded inner child.
The Venus Sequence is all about healing the wounding that occurred during childhood through our current relationships. Relationships, especially our most challenging ones, can be the greatest catalyst for transformation, and in my experience, the best mirror for me to really see where I am with embodying the Gift frequency.
Embodying the Gift takes time and practice. It takes the awareness to ALLOW, ACCEPT, and EMBRACE the Shadow so that we can release the Gift that is within. This journey requires contemplation, inquiry, gentleness and compassion (which is the Gene Keys Approach).
One of the greatest gifts that working with the Venus Sequence has given me in my life is the knowing that I am deeply and inherently worthy of love from others but especially from myself. My shadows and my wounds are worthy of love. I am worthy of love at every step of this journey.
The past 4 weeks, the Sun moved through the 6th Face of the Godhead, Mitra, which includes gates 37,63, 22 and 36. These 4 gates all code for the amino acid, Proline and form the Codon Ring of Divinity.
Mitra is a significant deity in Indo-Iranian mythology, appearing in both Vedic and Zoroastrian traditions. The name Mitra means "friend" or "contract" in Sanskrit and Avestan, emphasizing his role as a god of oaths, covenants, and societal order.
“If we go back to the very root of Mitra, it is closely associated with the word covenant, contract, oath or treaty. Covenant is an agreement. And we have the classic bargaining chip here in the 37 [gate]. The covenant, the contract, the oath and the treaty; and all of it is roughly translatable into friendship, but friendship in the sense of the guarantee of a future that will allow for peace and growth and movement, all of these kinds of things..” -Ra Uru Hu, Face 6: Mitra
We are currently moving through the 1st Quarter of Initiation, which is all about the mind. The Faces of the Godhead in this quarter are all about programming the mind and the way it thinks and what it gets hooked into. This is where the not-self mind gets locked into the homogenized program.
“It is questions that drive the evolution of the mind; questions, endless, endless, endless, endless questions. Mithraism was called the mystery religion; questions.” -Ra Uru Hu, Face 6: Mitra
The 4 gates within Mitra program the min to ask specific questions:
Gate 37: “Will I ever get what I need?”
Gate 63: “Is an answer enough?”
Gate 22: “Is there anyone or anything worth paying attention to?”
Gate 36: “Is this what life is supposed to be?”

“It’s all coming from Mitra. It’s just chemistry inside of us. Think about it. “Will I ever get what I need?” Look at humanity, look what drives them, look at what they’re always thinking about. See how powerful this force is and in this time, in the time of the Cross of Planning where the precession of the equinox is here in the 37th gate in the 1st line—need, need, need, need, need. If it isn’t the advertising trying to tell us what we need, it’s the news showing us the people who have nothing who are needy. We’re soaked with it. I feel as though these 4 questions will become even more of a focus as we get closer to 2027 when the Cross of Planning will no longer be the background frequency, which is what it has been since 1615. We can already see the old structures and systems that are built on social contracts starting to crumble.
Will every person ever get what they need when the system of capitalism is built to create massive inequality where the top 1% owns more than 50% of total wealth?
Wealth disparities in capitalism have been growing more extreme, particularly in recent decades. The richest individuals and corporations amass enormous wealth, while wages stagnate and the cost of living rises for the majority.
Worker productivity has increased significantly over the last few decades, but wages haven’t kept up. Instead of higher wages, the profits from increased productivity go to executives, shareholders, and investors. In the U.S., the top 1% have seen income grow by more than 200% since the 1970s, while wages for the bottom 90% have barely moved.
Right now, we’re seeing what happens when profits are prioritized over people.
While there are many potential answers to these problems, as gate 63 asks, “Is an answer enough?”
Often the answers that our leaders come up with don’t actually address the root of the issue. We often want easy solutions and quick fixes, instead of having to face how we are often complicit in upholding these system of oppression and inequality.
There is a huge conversation happening right now around if there are any political leaders who are really worth listening to or paying attention to (gate 22).
As we witness the dismantling of the United States government and the rights, protections, and freedoms we once had, we have to ask the question, “Is this what life is supposed to be?” (gate 36).
The Codon Ring of Divinity shows us the true potential of this chemistry within our DNA:
“Deeply connected to the true meaning of the Christ consciousness, the Ring of Divinity and its four genetic archetypes have the capacity to awaken the highest consciousness inside you, and will bring the eventual manifestation of the full Divine Being into the world. The Ring of Divinity reveals a great Truth (63) — all humans are made equal in this suffering (the 37th Gift of Equality). Doubt makes us human (The 36th Gift of Humanity) and leads us to a certain Graciousness (the 22nd Gift) in respect of how we treat others. Because of its connection to the 22nd Gene Key, this codon ring has much to do with the transformation of human awareness through suffering. It will bring intense emotional experiences and challenges to your life, but ultimately this codon group is about Redemption.” -Richard Rudd, Codon Rings
The Gifts of this Codon Ring are Equality (37), Inquiry (63), Graciousness (22) and Humanity (36) and what I believe we need more of in the world right now.
So much of this codon ring is about really embracing our suffering and the transformation of awareness that can occur during a dark night of the soul. The 22nd Gene Key is also connected to the Venus Sequence, which is designed to get to the core of our suffering.
The 36th Gift of Humanity is about discovering the true purpose of suffering. This comes from learning to accept your humanity and what comes with living in a physical form. You understand that pain is here to teach you something and unlock the true purpose of suffering.
Instead of running from pain and suffering, you've learned how to accept it and let it in rather than running from it. This comes from your deep trust in life and your own strength. You know that you can weather any storm, because you have before.
The 37th Gift of Equality is a living ideal that lifts people out of the fame of victims and winners. When you're in this frequency you're living solely from your heart and everything else is secondary. Equality is based on the respect for individual uniqueness. It thrives on diversity rather than homogenization. The hallmark of this gift is friendliness that is rooted in giving rather than controlling.
The 63rd Gift of Inquiry is about remaining open without finding a definitive answer to life. It unlocks nature's secrets by examining life in detail, which is rooted in a genetic tendency to doubt and question things. I think that during this time of great change, it is important to doubt and question the old ways of being and to inquire how we can create a new earth that is rooted in equality.
The 22nd Gift of Graciousness is about living your life to the fullest while maintaining a deep respect and consideration for the feelings of others. You act with grace and consideration in everything that you do. Graciousness comes from your ability to take accountability for your own aura, your emotions, and your actions so that you can move cleanly throughout the world, without creating more and more negative karma for future generations.
As I witness what is occurring right now in the world, I become more entrenched in my belief that the most profound and impactful work that we can each do is to heal the wounding around our hearts that has caused it to close off from love.
What I see in the world is “leaders” who are leading from their wounded inner child and believe in a zero sum mentality- the belief that wealth, success, or resources are finite—meaning that if one person gains, someone else must lose. Late-stage capitalism thrives on division, artificial scarcity, and the illusion that wealth must be hoarded rather than shared.
When we can heal the shadows within ourselves it transforms the way that we see others. We have more compassion for others, are more connected to our own humanity and desire to alleviate suffering in the world.
The ultra-rich and corporate elites benefit when we subscribe to a zero-sum mentality because it prevents collective action. Keeping us divided is the way that they maintain power. Community, organizing, gathering, and understanding the interconnection of all beings is how we reclaim our power and can rebuild the world in a more compassionate and equal way for all beings.
