A few weeks ago, we talked about the 3 main circuits in Human Design that describe the routes that the energy flows within the chart.  

Each of the 3 main circuits have 2 sub-circuits within it: 

Individual 

1. Knowing: Includes the Channels of Awareness, Assimilation, Inspiration, the Beat, Mutation, Struggle, the Brainwave, Openness, and Emoting 
2. Centering: Includes the Channels of Initiation and Exploration 

Tribal

1. Ego: Includes the Channels of Transformation, Surrender, the Money Line, Community and Synthesis 
2. Defense: Includes the Channels of Mating and Preservation  

Collective

1. Understanding: Includes the Channels of Logic, Acceptance, the Wavelength, Judgement, Concentration, Rhythm and the Alpha 
2. Sensing: Includes the Channels of Abstraction, Curiosity, Transitoriness, Recognition, Maturation, Discovery and the Prodigal

How are you feeling after the recent eclipse? What was brought to light or emerged for you during eclipse season? 

The first lunation after the eclipse is a full moon in Scorpio on April 23rd at 4:50 pm Pacific, which will be activating gate 28, the Gate of the Game Player.  

Even though we’re out of eclipse season, Mercury is still retrograde until until April 25th when it will station direct but then be in its post-retrograde shadow until May 12th. 

When Mercury entered into its pre-retrograde shadow on March 18th, it was in gate 51. This pre-shadow period is when Mercury is still direct, but is slowing down and going through the gates that it will then go back through during its retrograde. 

Mercury stationed retrograde on April 1st in gate 3 when it then started to move back through gate 42 and 51.  When it gets back to gate 51, it will station direct, but be in its post shadow until it moves out of gate 3.

The gates and channels in the Human Design Bodygraph are connected to one another through circuitry.  Circuitry describes the way that energy circulates throughout the chart. It’s what ties the 36 channels together and gives the Bodygraph its infrastructure.

The Solar Eclipse is happening on April 8th at 11:20am Pacific and will be activating gate 51, the Gate of Shock, which is also currently transiting the Sun, North Node, and Chiron. 

A solar eclipse will always occur close to the North Node, but isn't always in the same gate. However, this solar eclipse is happening with the Sun, Moon, North Node and Chiron all in gate 51. 

Solar eclipses are seen as potent times for initiating new beginnings, taking risks, and moving forward in life. They often coincide with opportunities for personal growth and advancement.

One of the things that I didn’t hear discussed when I started learning about and experimenting with Human Design and the Gene Keys was how challenging the process of deconditioning can actually be. 

These systems were presented as having all of the answers to understanding myself at a soul level. All I had to do was learn the system and start living as my true self to unlock more satisfaction and flow in my life. 

It all sounded incredible and like exactly what I had been searching for my whole life. 

As someone with an undefined G-center and gate 28 four times (Personality South Node, Design Mercury and both Pluto placements), I’ve been searching for my life’s purpose, the meaning of life, and a deeper understanding of who I am for as long as I can remember. 

Discovering Human Design and the Gene Keys felt like coming home to a knowing that had been within myself all along. It was a homecoming to my true self. 

We’ve officially entered into the 1st eclipse season of 2024 as the Sun moved into Aries. Eclipses occur close to the nodes, which are currently on the Aries-Libra axis, specifically in gates 51 and 57.  

When the Sun enters Aries or Libra this year, we’ll enter into an eclipse season. The first eclipse of the year will be a lunar eclipse on March 25th in Libra followed by a solar eclipse on April 8th in Aries.

A major aspect of Human Design that I found challenging to understand when I got into my experiment was the Incarnation Cross. It was difficult to find much information about it other than a short paragraph that was vague and generalized.  

With this being the Science of Differentiation, it didn’t make sense that all of the explanations for the Incarnation Cross didn’t take into account someone’s Type, Profile, Definition or Variable Configuration. 

I only started to make sense of my Incarnation Cross after I had been following my Strategy and Authority for at least a year.  As I started to live more as my authentic self and remove the layers of conditioning that I had put on throughout the years, my true self started to emerge.

At the start of 2023, I had just come out of 6 months of deconstructing the high demand religion that I was born and raised in.  As a part of my deconstruction, I spent a lot of time studying cults and high demand groups and the tactics that they use to recruit and maintain control over their members.

The Full Moon in Virgo on Saturday, February 24th is the last full moon before the first eclipse season of 2024 begins.  

Eclipses occur when the Earth, Sun, and Moon align in such a way that one celestial body casts a shadow on the other. There are two types of eclipses: solar eclipses and lunar eclipses. 

Solar eclipses occur during the New Moon when the Moon comes between the Earth and the Sun, partially or completely blocking the Sun's light. Lunar eclipses occur during the Full Moon when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon, causing the Earth's shadow to be cast on the Moon.  

Eclipses usually occur in pairs, separated by about two weeks, during specific times of the year known as eclipse seasons. Eclipse seasons typically happen a couple times a year. During these periods, there is a heightened potential for change and transformation. It’s a time where things that were hidden come to light.
