At the start of 2023, I had just come out of 6 months of deconstructing the high demand religion that I was born and raised in.  As a part of my deconstruction, I spent a lot of time studying cults and high demand groups and the tactics that they use to recruit and maintain control over their members.  

Unexpectedly, I started to witness similar patterns in the coaching industry. I began to recognize where I had used these same tactics in the past, especially in my marketing and sales.  

This realization put me on a mission to run my business differently. I wasn’t going to keep going along with the industry standards and status quo that I saw wasn’t working and was actually causing customers a lot of emotional and financial harm.  

I got really clear on what the values and mission was for my business, which helped to guide the changes that I made and how I ran my business.
